Utilizing training tools such as prong collars, e-collars, and slip leads, to communicate clearly and effectively with the dog(s) and easily transfer the training to the owner so they can continue to make progress with their dog(s) after their training with us is complete.

What is Balanced Training? |

Balanced Training is the use of all four quadrants of operant conditioning - positive reinforcement, negative reinforcement, positive punishment, and negative punishment. When a dog makes a good decision there is a reward, when the dog makes a "bad" decision there is a consequence. Things like food, treats, toys, pets and praise are used to communicate to our dog they've done something we like. But how do you communicate to them that a behavior is disliked, this is where training tools come in, they help to fill the gap in communication with our dogs. By using a combination of rewards and consequences we are able to create balance in the relationship between owner and dog.
